Job Overview

- Summary: Responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining elevators, escalators, dumbwaiters, and similar equipment in new and old buildings.
Job Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, repair, and maintain elevators and escalators.
- Ensure installed equipment meets safety regulations and building codes.
- Diagnose mechanical problems and perform test procedures.
- Maintain or repair industrial or related equipment.
- Provide drawings or specifications to others about devices, parts, and equipment.
- Train and teach others, identifying educational needs and developing training programs.
