Key Requirements Across Employers
- Pediatric Experience (Employer 1)
- Minimum 2 years of active pediatric nursing experience within the last 5 years.
- NICU nurses are eligible if they have 2 years of pediatric experience within the last 5 years.
- Home Care Nursing (Employer 2)
- RGN/RCN training preferred.
- Pediatric nursing experience is highly desirable.
- Previous home care experience is an advantage, but full training and support will be provided.
- Acute Pediatric & NICU Experience (Employer 3)
- Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in a large acute hospital (250+ beds).
- At least 1 year in PICU with 1:1 nursing of critically ill children.
- OR 1 year in NICU with experience in critically ill infants and 3+ years in acute pediatrics.
- Proven competence and commitment to work as a pediatric homecare nurse.
General Requirements
- Educational Qualification:
Relevant nursing degree and registration with NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland). - Key Skills:
- Confidence in handling critically ill pediatric and neonatal patients.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
